# Installation Guide

1. Head to the North website here (<https://north.lol/auth/login>).
2. Enter your email and select "Continue". You should receive an email shortly after, open that email and click the "Sign in" button.
3. Once logged in, head to the "[Grand Theft Auto V](https://north.lol/dashboard/cheats/2)" tab, enter your license key in the "Redeem" box and select the "Redeem" button.
4. Now head back to the "[Overview](https://north.lol/dashboard)" tab and copy your "Login Token".
5. Before downloading the software, you will need to disable your anti-virus. This is due to the nature of the software and how it interacts with your game. All products sold on RevUnity are completely safe and do not contain any form of malicious code.
6. Head to the "[Download](https://north.lol/dashboard/download)" tab and download the North software.
7. Launch the North software as administrator, enter '1' in the North console and then enter your login token when requested.
8. Enter the number that correlates with your version of the menu and wait for the console to print "Waiting for GTA 5.exe to load..."
9. Launch GTA 5 into Story Mode and the menu will automatically begin to inject.

You have now successfully injected the menu into the games process.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.revunity.com/our-products/north/installation-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
